HealthXnet connects to many different health plan systems, each with their own schedules of system availability. Some of these connections are direct while others are routed through a partner clearinghouse that may have its own scheduled of system availability.
Each health plan and partner clearinghouse can have a schedule of stated downtime to allow for maintenance on their inquiry systems. During these regularly scheduled system downtimes, the health plan systems and partner clearinghouses may be unavailable to accept and respond to inquiry requests.
During HealthXnet scheduled downtime, users may be logged out of the system, and/or be unable to access the application. Weekly maintenance is scheduled on Sundays. Additional one-time maintenance events may be scheduled during weekday evenings or weekends.
During Partner Clearinghouse scheduled downtime, the partner clearinghouse may be unable to route inquiries to/from one or more specific payers systems.
